Mg3 Farms
Roderick McMillan turned to farming in 2016 and started MG3 Farms with his parents, siblings, and girlfriend. MG3 farms is a 10,000 sq ft greenhouse in Maxton, North Carolina that produces many different varieties of leafy greens such as lettuce, cilantro, basil, parsley, Swiss chard, kale, collards, cabbages, and mustard greens. They mostly sell wholesale to Robeson Community College, University of North Carolina at Pembroke and St. Andrews University but also sell at farmers markets and to local restaurants.
